Cindy Hawkins

Cindy’s musical background influences the way she approaches creating visual art. For example, while composing music, she uses synthesizers to generate sound waves. These waves can be “colored” and transformed by sending them though filters,  adjusting their length and amplitude, and by adding effects until the desired sound is produced. She creates visual compositions, by using similar processes with drawing and painting software, such as Adobe Photoshop and iPad apps.
